OUR SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY
Our mission is to provide the highest quality substance abuse, dependency and dual diagnosis treatment to the broadest spectrum possible. We are a freestanding substance abuse rehab program, near the beach in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, specializing in men's issues. The program provides day and night treatment as well as intensive outpatient recovery. Destination Hope’s successful substance abuse program is designed to offer an alternative treatment to men who are physically and/or psychologically addicted and dependent on drugs, alcohol or chemicals of any kind. The overall goal of Destination Hope is to assist individuals in creating a life for themselves that positively affects them and future generations by providing the tools and support to conquer dependency.
Philosophy of treatment: Chemical dependency is a disease and the Destination Hope facility is dedicated to utilizing several prevention models to achieve full recovery. Our treatment philosophy includes relapse prevention models, cognitive behavioral approach, solution focused, Alcoholics Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous and our proudest achievement: Destination Therapy. Destination Therapy is a goal-oriented approach to life's bleakest dilemmas and problems caused and heightened by substance abuse.
At Destination Hope the client receives their individualized treatment devised in a comprehensive plan based on continuing assessments. The initial and subsequent evaluations will determine the level of care and modality of treatment the patient will continue to receive. If, for some reason, a person is considered unsuitable for our drug rehab or alcohol treatment, a proper referral will be made. Discharge planning begins at admission and a continuing-care plan and a pre-discharge plan will be evaluated and updated throughout treatment and recovery. Destination Hope believes in a team approach to your treatment -- you are included in the treatment planning and are a part of all the decision-making that affects your substance abuse and recovery program.
